Privacy Policy

CBFC App Services is a private service operated by CBFC for authorized users and authorized QuickBooks Online companies. It is not offered for public sign-up. This Privacy Policy explains how CBFC collects, uses, stores, and shares information when an authorized user uses the service or authorizes a QuickBooks Online connection.

Information we process

When you authorize a QuickBooks Online connection, CBFC processes the authorization information and connection data

needed to operate that integration. This can include the QuickBooks company identifier, OAuth access and refresh

tokens, token expiry information, and QuickBooks Online data made available through the permissions you authorize.

When you visit our website, Squarespace and other service providers may process technical information such as your IP

address, browser or device information, and pages visited. If you contact us, we process the information you provide

in your message.

How we use information

We use information to provide, maintain, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the CBFC service; to operate the QuickBooks

Online integration you authorize; to respond to support requests; and to meet applicable legal obligations.

Service providers

CBFC uses service providers to operate the service, including Intuit for QuickBooks Online authorization and APIs,

Amazon Web Services for application hosting, Neon for database hosting, and Squarespace for website hosting. These

providers process information as needed to provide their services.

Retention and deletion

We retain information for as long as needed to operate the service, maintain security, resolve issues, and meet legal

obligations. Disconnecting CBFC in QuickBooks Online revokes CBFC’s access to your QuickBooks Online company. To

request deletion of CBFC-held connection data, email info@cbfc.co.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. No method of

transmission or storage is completely secure.

You may disconnect the QuickBooks Online integration at any time through QuickBooks Online. For privacy questions,

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and update the effective

date.
